Cancellation Policy

Effective Date: May 8, 2026

At Altranum Ltd (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), we understand that circumstances may change. This Cancellation Policy explains how clients can cancel our digital services and the conditions that may apply. This policy should be read alongside our Terms and Conditions and Refund Policy.

1. Cancellation Requests

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing by email to help@altranum.xyz. Please include your name, project or service details, and the reason for cancellation so we can identify your request and process it.

A cancellation will take effect once we have acknowledged your request or on another date agreed in writing, subject to applicable law and any contractual cancellation rights.

2. Cancellation Before Project Start

Clients may request cancellation before work on a project begins. Any refund will be assessed according to the agreed service terms, payments already made, costs reasonably incurred, and applicable law.

Where no work has started and no non-recoverable costs have been incurred, a full or partial refund may be available, subject to the applicable agreement and any statutory rights.

3. Cancellation After Project Start

Clients may request cancellation after a project has started. In such cases:

  • Charges may apply for work completed up to the effective cancellation date.
  • Reasonable costs already incurred for the project may be taken into account.
  • Any refund will depend on the agreed terms, the work completed, and applicable law.
  • We will provide details of any outstanding balance or eligible refund where appropriate.

Deposits and advance payments will be handled in accordance with the service agreement and applicable law. They will not automatically be treated as non-refundable where doing so would conflict with statutory rights or other legal requirements.

4. Subscription and Ongoing Services

For recurring or subscription-based services, cancellation terms, notice periods, and billing arrangements will be specified in the relevant agreement or service description.

  • Where the service terms permit, clients may cancel before the next billing cycle.
  • Unless otherwise stated in the applicable agreement or required by law, cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Payments for an active billing period are generally not refundable once the service has been provided, subject to applicable law and any agreed refund terms.
  • Any recurring payments due after the effective cancellation date will be stopped in accordance with the agreed cancellation terms.

5. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for:

  • Submitting cancellation requests with sufficient project or account information.
  • Providing timely communication during the cancellation process.
  • Paying any valid outstanding amounts for work completed or services provided before cancellation takes effect.
  • Retrieving any client-owned materials or data where applicable and reasonably available.

6. Company-Initiated Cancellation

Altranum Ltd may suspend or terminate services where reasonably necessary, including in circumstances involving:

  • A material breach of our Terms and Conditions.
  • Failure to make payments when due, subject to applicable notice requirements.
  • Fraudulent, abusive, threatening, or unlawful conduct.
  • Security risks or circumstances that make continued service unlawful or impractical.

Where appropriate and legally required, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue before suspending or terminating services. Any outstanding charges, refunds, or other consequences will be handled in accordance with the applicable agreement and law.

7. Effect of Cancellation

Once cancellation takes effect:

  • Work on the cancelled project or service may be paused or terminated.
  • Completed deliverables may be provided in accordance with the service agreement and payment status.
  • Access to ongoing services, accounts, or platforms may end, subject to contractual obligations and applicable law.
  • Any valid outstanding payments for services already provided may remain payable.
  • Client data and personal information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.

8. Processing of Approved Refunds

Any approved refund arising from a cancellation will be processed according to our Refund Policy and applicable legal requirements. Where practicable, eligible refunds will generally be processed within 7–14 business days after approval.

The time it takes for a refund to appear in your account may depend on your payment provider, bank, or card issuer.

9. Consumer Cancellation Rights

If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom, you may have statutory cancellation rights under applicable consumer protection legislation, including the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, where applicable.

Certain distance contracts may provide a 14-day cancellation period. Exceptions and special requirements can apply, particularly where services begin during that period or digital content is supplied. Any applicable consent, acknowledgement, or waiver must satisfy the relevant legal requirements.

Nothing in this policy excludes or restricts any statutory consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cancellation Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, business practices, or legal obligations. Updates will be published on this page with a revised effective date.
